Baby too small!! :(

Just back from the midwife and I'm measuring 5 weeks behind I'm 38 wks measuring 33wks, have to have a growth scan tonight and then maybe be induced! Freaking out as my last 2 babies measured 2wks behind but never 5!
Anyone else had this?

Have you been measuring 5 weeks behind this whole time? I've always measured 2 weeks behind and then at my 38 week appt I was measuring 34. The midwife said it was a good thing as it means the baby has dropped and a lowered fundal height at this stage is a good sign that labour is coming soon. She was not worried about my drop in fundal height at all. Unless you have been measuring that far behind for a while I wouldn't worry to much, it is probably just a sign that the baby has dropped lower in your pelvis.

ive been measuring 2 weeks behind but coz its my 3rd shes not yet engaged my last appointment was 4 weeks ago and the measurements not changed since then
