Baby wearing with saree

Has anyone tried baby wearing with Indian cotton saree? If so, can you explain how you did it or post a link? TIA

I tried a ruck with a pashmina once but it was too short.
I imagine it's in the style of the welsh-shawl babywearing, where they are sort of rolled up in it, bit weird.

The safest way of using a plain piece of cotton would be a torso carry. Same as with a kanga. You can do this with a beach towel too, it's pretty great.
