hi ladies im wanting to go for 3/4d scan , i wud have to go to york babybond, just been looking online and i dont understand wot it is im wanting
i dont want a sexing scan,just a normal 3/4d scan, also wots the difference between 3d/4d ?
so how much did u pay? for how long ? and how many pics etc did u get ?!
thanks xxxx

I paid £100 for that i got a half hour app, the whole thing on dvd, 50 pics on disk and 2 big print offs

That wasnt with Babybond though i dont think i have one near me

Im having a 4d scan later at window to the womb in nottingham. Im paying £165 and i get : 20 minute DVD of scan
CD-ROM of 25 to 50 3D images
6 X '7x5' 3D prints of your choice
1 X A4 print
Video clips on web for all family and friends to view
1 Champagne Gift Basket (girl/boy/neutral)
Sexing if required

I think only difference between 3d and 4d is that 3d are still images and 4d is moving ones.

I had mine at york its a health spa and they only scan there 1 day a wk i wasnt impressed as i was under the impression if baby wasnt playyin ball i could go have a coffee and come back ....the cd pics are crap glad i paid a extra 25 for dvd as well if u go there i would def have the dvd solo my placenta is at front which made it harder too xxx
It took about half a hr was in a small cramped room in the beauty treatment part of health spa

this is the one we had, the short dvd is 5 minutes long, but ours is 9 as she had trouble trying to get some good photos as Ernie was nestled quite snuggly with his face in my placenta!!

If they scan you and are unable to get good images, they ask you to go for a short wander around-about 30minutes, and then come back and they try again. If they are still unable to get good photos they will rebook you an appointment. We went for the short walk and when we came back she said that because we had travelled quite a distance(so i could get to one with decent crutches access!!) if she was unable to get good images they would refund our deposit, but with a bit of gentle wiggling she was able to coax him into moving a little bit, hence why my dvd was a bit longer!!

Also i had mine done at 30 weeks which personally i feel was too late-the best photos i have seen were done around 26/27 weeks!!!

they are imo well worth the money!!

serina27 and Pink_Witch
thats exactley the scan ive booked, same as u both had, same place also .......... so FX all will b nice :? took a while for her to get it correct, keep saying leeds on the email and i wanted york, but she sorted it , hope two deposits dont cum out monday :?

The only thing i was annoyed about was the promise of if baby wasnt in right position i could go for walk and come bk she just kept tryin the dvd was 6 mins long and the cd was crap 4 30 second clips

This was taken from a screenshot of my dvd but i never got any pics on the cd that i could upload as they was 30 sec shots think its a big con so u have to pay to get more i also got 2 2d pics and 4 pics

How many weeks were you Serena?
The opnes i've seen advertised usually say to eat chocolate and if baby isnt playing theyll let you go for a walk and eat more chocolate - I mean its a hell of a lot of money for them to expect baby to play ball everytime first time.

so wot didnt u get serina ?! sry ur exprenice werent very good hun, think its a shame xx

The cd was crap wasnt still pics but 30 second clips they never offerd for me to go for awalk i was 24 wks as i wanted to take dvd on holiday with me to show mil x

I've just booked a gender scan with babybond in april, i heard from few people in here there really good, plus its so close to wear i live, its actually at my old doctors surgery where i used to live in norbury lol xxx

hi hun i went to babybond in leeds and found it really crap mine was only a gender scan and i was told by people who have used babybond if baby was in awkward position they would let you walk around to try and get baby moving which they didnt do with me. the scan felt rushed also and tbh i felt really let down by them. i'min two minds whether to complain really as with my youngest i had a gender scan with a different company and they were fab. my daughter had her legs crossed and the sonographer spent ages trying to get her to move her legs for us to see she even let me gwet a glimpse of her in 4d while waiting for her to move! compared to that scan the babybond was shabby and not worth the 79 pounds i payed for.

its a shame you have already put a deposit down as i saw in another post you are from scarborough. they have a scanning place in hull (where i am from) and its the place i went with my daughter and they were fantastic! could reccomend them to anyone. as for babybond never using their services again! total waste of time, money and petrol!

anyways rant over lol feeling very sorry for myself atm! x

serina im booked for a solo at babybond, how much do they charge for extras?
