My 7-month-old's first tooth has come through!!

It exciting but kind of scary too. Haha. He has only had it for about three days and he has not bit me yet, which is nice! :haha: He is however, not quite used to it yet(as to be expected!) and when he nurses his little bottom tooth kind of drags on my nipple. It doesn't really hurt per say but it has been making me pretty sore. He does it most when he is nursing to sleep. I know that there are tricks that you can use to stop then from biting you on purpose but is there anything that I can do to stop him from scraping his tooth on me on accident?

Like I said, he's only had a tooth for about 3 days so I know he isn't used to it. I'm not sure it's even worth it to "try" anything at this point... maybe I'll just have to get used to it for now like he has to. I just wanted to run it by you ladies and see what you think!

It just takes them.a bit of them to get used to having a tooth, if you find baby isn't opening wide enough which is causing the tooth to dig in (this happened to us when lo got top teeth) just unlatch and help him get a nice wide mouth before trying again :)
