Hi ladies!

Wondering how accurate this theory is about babies heartrate. We don't want to find out the sex but it helps to explore all the theories just for fun and to pass the time instead of driving ourselves mad guessing lol.

Can u put down baby's heartrate and if it's a boy or girl please!

I have been told that heart rate cannot predict gender, however, I have noticed the difference between my son and daughter.

With my son, he was always 140-150
Now with my daughter, she is always in the 160's. Yesterday at the doctor's it was 163.

I found that some wives tales have more accuracy than others though. The baking soda test was right for me both times for example.

Hi sweetart!

How does the baking soda test work? And do u have to be a certain amount of Weeks before u can try it?

All my boys were between 160 and 150, last bub i think though was 142 at 18 week scan.
This bub was 174 at 8 weeks and 142 i think it was at 13 weeks. My sono for some reason didn't measure babies hr at my 18 week scan so i have no idea how many bpm it was. And she didn't tell me the gender either. Will find out on Wednesday though.

A quick google search will pull up full details but it's pretty simple.
Reccomended gestation is at least 12 weeks along. :)
You add an equal amount of first morning urine to baking soda.
If it fizzes up like a beer then it's supposedly a boy. If it does nothing it's a girl.

Some people said it didn't work for them but it did for me. It's all for fun in the end while we all go crazy trying to figure out as soon as possible.

The test I believe is based off of the acidity of your urine. A boy result is essentially a chemical reaction.

Haha that's kewl.

Think it would also depend on what you're eating and drinking that would make your wee more or less acidic!

It is all good fun though while we wait! Even the intelli gender results are not a hundred percent accurate so can't really go on any of these tests accurately.

My sister is a paediatrician and has delivered a few babies. She told me that even with ramzi theory most of the ultrasounds that are done are cross sections whether transvaginal or abdominal so true left and right is not easy to determine even for a trained eye sometimes.

I find all these theories really fun to do though!

That's true :)

I was so happy to find out early this time with the Panorama.
My entire family and my husband's family were all wanting a girl so it took off a lot of stress
