We bought everything from Baby2k in Portsmouth, but they also accept orders on their website and over the phone. The service has been great, cannot fault it, and they price matched as I found the whole package cheaper elsewhere; they threw in a sheepskin pram liner as a freebie for accepting the price match.

I am so jealous! I want an Oyster, Love it... but of course I can't find a retailer here in the United States. My Fiance is very tall and he has to hunch over horribly to push a stroller. We were talking about a Bugaboo Camelion but I like the size of the Oyster better. :(

We are also planning to get a Britax Carseat. That they do sell here. Thankfully.

SO JEALOUS! :( Enjoy your new toy. :)

Have you not managed to find a supplier in the UK who could ship to you? The britax car seat is great, it seems to lay fairly flat compared to some so I think it will be far more comfortable for little one.

I can't seem to find one, maybe I just am not looking hard enough. :(

I have heard GREAT thing about Britax, its supposedly the BEST! I am actually excited to get the Carseat. :)

Well if I find anywhere I will let you know :)

Fingers crossed they reply with good news and you get the pram you really want :happydance:

Picking ours up tomorrow!

We went for Electric blue pack for the stroller and yellow for the crib.

Had the Red britax SHR 11 for a month already as was such a bargain at kiddicare.

Looking forward to looking like a loon giving it a test run up and down the street!!

I love my Oyster :cloud9: I got it to complement my Quinny Buzz, which is my off-road pushchair. I needed something more compact for around town and for if I needed to use public transport :)

I got the black chassis with the purple colour pack, and it's fantastic  I like the look of the Britax carseat on it. I only used the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix on the chassis once (lovely Arcanegirl loaned me her adaptors) but I felt like it really really reclined the seat. Would be great for a small baby, but not so good for an older child who wants to be sat up to see around.

Quick pics of ours after collecting at the weekend:

I have the original oyster in black/green - I love it! It is so easy to push and so quick to put up, even one handed! I highly recommend it!

one of the people I know who has an oyster said they think it's a bit flimsy - do any of you that have one think the same? I've got my eye on it (currently between britax b-smart and the oyster) but wondered what you thought of it.

With any luck I'm off to try them out on Friday but it's always good to have your thoughts too :)

It doesn't seem flimsy, but I'm still waiting for my little one to arrive to test it properly! The carrycot, seat unit and car seat clip on securely so I have no worries there. When you open the chassis from it being folded down it does appear to be sturdy and it does click into place so you know it's safe to be used.

that's great thanks :) I can't wait to have a play myself!

That's OK, hope that helps? Little one is due on Sunday and I am hopefully going to be induced then if he hasn't arrived so soon I can let you know whether it passes the test properly - I'll keep an eye on this thread so I hopefully remember to let you know once it has been road tested.

Oh definatley not flimsy at all! Very sturdy infact :)
She maybe thinks that because of the suspension? Once its been worn in it is quite a boucny pram.
