Back after a molar pregnancy, but very nervous

Hey and Congrats all


I never thought I'd be back on here soo soon after my molar pregnancy, it's taken since november to get here, and I'm really nervous and hoping in a few weeks I won't be dissapointed at my scan.



As I'm still too early for a early scan, I'm really nervous, as previously I was brought back to the hosptial for over a month, trying to determine if a baby was going to grow in the Sac and if my HCG levels would ever drop from the 100,000's...

I would really love to hear of other mums2be, who have concieved after a molar pregnancy, as I feel a bag of nerves.

hey hun, i have no advice sorry, but not sure if you remember me? we were both due in july and were on the buddies thread together, i ended up loosing my bean then also.

i've been alright, lifes been a bit of a rollercoaster lol, and i'm single now, but all okay with baby so far so i am happy

have you been given a date for a scan or anything? xx

Don't have any advice for you but I just wanted to say congratulations and that we are all a bag of nerves on here for different reasons so your not alone with that one

Not yet, going to the Drs properly this week.

I'm on my way to being a single mum, OH has told me if I don't get rid he'll leave, which I'm not too botherd about anymore, as if this baby sticks there is NO way I'm giving up on it

i'm finding it alright, it was all a bit of a blur really, we tried for this baby after we lost the last bean, i found out i was pregnant again on valentines day, and i had 2 early pregnancy bleeds, so we presumed we'd lost this baby too, and he left, literaly just upped and left a month before our wedding, i was so shocked but happy that bubs was all well and good at the 8 week scan that i really haven't cared oddly, i never wanted to be a single mum, but i love my baby and so thrilled to have gotten this far

yeah i was thinking about you the other day cos your still on my friends list and i wondered how you were, then i saw your post haha

Yeah I'm back, has taken a while, this baby wasn't planned compared to the previous!
Oh screw some men, Yeah aslong as you and the bubs is all good, that's all that matters. Has he tried to get in contact with you? or anything like that?

nope he hasn't contacted me at all, he changed his number so i couldn't contact him, i sent him a few messages over facebook and he told me hes not interested and leave him alone basicly

Hello! I didn't have time to read all the comments just yet. But I suffered a loss due to a twin molar in Sept 2007, and have been terrified to TTC since. Going through the molar & all the after effects was really traumatic for me, so I think I understand some of what you are feeling. We just found out yesterday we are expecting again, and its scary because my EDD is almost exactly the same as the previous one. I know I will be a basket case around the time of my loss.

yes i have most things haha, i'm moving house soon so not buying anything else until i'm all moved and settled

I feel mad, thinking it can go all wrong, esp as with molars, everything looks normal, until the 6-10week.

Do you think you'll have twins again and CONGRATS

You know, the whole thing was weird. I didn't have any indication there was something wrong until 15 weeks. We heard HB at 13 weeks, and then at 15 weeks I miscarried. My HCG counts wouldn't go down and an u/s was showing molar tissue so they finally did a D&C to remove it---2months later. So it was very drawn out. In my case one twin was a fetus and the other "just" the mole. So I don't even know if it "counts" as twins, you know?

I think twins would be great though--may explain why I'm already SO sick and its only 4 weeks along...I'm not counting my chickens though, just hoping for sticky baby vibes and get one healthy baby would be so great.

Just popping by to say congrats. I remember when you had your molar pregnancy. I hope all goes well on your scan. I never had a molar, but the first tri was very difficult due to all my losses, even after my 8 week scan. I really hope this pregnancy goes well for you hon. x
