Back again :)just off the pill , planning to TTC #4 :)

Hi all,

Not been on here for a while, I have three boys , two late teens and youngest age 2 all fabulous. My oldest are very close and we have decided that it would be loverly for our little one to have a sibling close to his age so after long chat we decided that I would come off the pill and stopped taking two days ago. It's strange as that day I started very light af and few cramps and I haven't been like that for months so wouldnt count as day one I don't think. Going to let af settle and monitor ovulation.
Im Little nervous as had mc 2012 and this was after concieving first month after coming off pill so thinking I might leave it a cycle before trying ..on last 2 pregnancies I got bfp first time , hope it's like this again but I'm 37 so know this may be changing


Anyway good luck to all u ladies. Cant believe how this forum has grown so much.. I found it so supportive through mc and pregnancy last time.
Be nice to look for a buddy soon when ttc properly
Still not sure if I'm bonkers for doing this again but I love being a mummy

Hi Apple111 I wish you all the best of luck. I'm off the pill 4months & slowly getting round to TTC. My periods are regular enough 28-32 days but have been very sore. Then this month I've had period like pains since day 15 (I'm now on day 20). It's like a low dull ache in abdomen and lower back - have you ever experienced this around ovulation when coming off the pill? x

Hi, thanks for reply, I'm pretty sure that I do get pain when I ovulate but it's like a stabbing pain on one side of my stomach. Not sure if this to do with the pill, I've only stopped taking a few days and have stomach cramps .. I'm going to se how long it takes to get a regular af and monitor temp and use predictor ect. Hopefully not too long good luck when u ttc x

Aww thank you, Molly-Rose is 4yrs old now & is as cute as a button...her name really suits her. When I first came off the pill I did have aches & pains for a full month. Then it ended up just as bad periods...not heavy, but just sore. This is the first month we have ttc, but i wonder if these pains are in my head. Good luck with your ttc...I hope you get some baby dust x

well I did test this morning but it was BFN. I'm cd22 and I think 10 dpo. Think i'll just wait until AF is due before I test again x

You're not crazy for ttc! Well, maybe but that makes a lot of us crazy with you. I am on cycle 2 of ttc and feel pretty much out this time. AF is due tonight/tomorrow, so we shall see. I had my IUD out in Oct and I don't feel like my hormones are totally back in sync. Good luck and lots of baby dust!

Sorry for late reply.thanks for message. I had IUD b4 my second ds was conceived and It did take a while for my hormones to settle. At least of u are aware that that's normal you won't worry as much. Good luck and lots of baby dust to u too ��x

Any updates Apple or Joyouss? I'm now on day 28, had another bfn this morning, so guess I'm just waiting on AF now. Originally I thought I had ovulated on the 12th jan, but now thinking I was wrong. Had ewcm on 13-15 Jan, so think AF should either appear tonight or tomorrow. If it comes later that that, then I really don't have a notion when I ovulated! 😕
