I had a pelvic examination ultrasound today to check for any large cysts. Although they couldn't tell me too much until I get the results from my gp, they did tell me I have a backwards uterus, meaning my womb tilts towards my spine rather than my belly. I'm not sure whether this was caused from my previous pregnancy as Its never been mentioned to me before, however my mum had a backwards uterus before she had a hysterectomy, so it could be something I was born with?
They also had to do an internal because they couldn't find my right ovary. They did eventually find it hiding away.
Guess I won't know for sure what's going on until I get the results back.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar?
