bad cramping - 20 weeks pregnant

Hi all

I had bad cramping last night (no bleeding) and diarrhea. I have a dull pain this morning but no diarrhea. i have a doppler found heartbeat last night and this morning again... what could be wrong?

Are you sure its not a stomach upset rather than anything to do with the baby?

Yes sounds like an upset tummy. Also, from reading this forum a lot, there seems to be a growth spurt around 20/21 weeks. I had severe muscle pain and cramps - so have many others around this time. x

I am 19 weeks and have had the same, I had a fall this weekend and ended up in hospital when I told them about this they said would be the stretching xx

Hi,

That sounds like a tummy bug! I have had diarrhea on and off throughout pregnancy and cramping too. Can be worrying at the time. If it continues just give a call to your GP but am sure its fine. Some cramping is normal I have been told by MW and docs, I was so worried as had menstraul cramping but it eased off itself. Scary times!! Best of luck with everything xx

With my DD i cramped every single week. Sometimes really painful. Everytime i asked i was told it was normal. This time i have cramped for maybe 10 minutes the whole pregnancy (im 15 weeks) . However if they get regular, or you get any bleeding or you are generally just worried then ring your midwife.

Growing/stretching pains, I get them every few weeks for a day or so and usually find that I get a bit of a bump growth spurt once they have gone.
