I started getting sore-ish this afternoon. I realized when I had trouble bending over. At first I thought it was just because my belly had gotten bigger, but then when I sat in the car and it hurt to sit down I felt the cramps.
I am slightly constipated, and thought that might be the reason, but after getting home and visiting the bathroom, it still hurts. When I sit down, when I get up it's worse.
It's on my left side, just above my hip bones.
I didn't feel the baby a lot today, but just a while ago she was pretty active. I had a scan on Thursday and everything looked good.

It really hurts, I'm starting to worry that I should get it checked or something, usually I would just ignore it, but now being pregnant I can't afford to just ignore it.
Is cramping like this normal? Should I see how it feels tomorrow and if it continues see my doctor?
I've had cramps like this before but none while pregnant!

Baby is getting bigger, it could be RLP and stretching. I have something similar and its mostly on my left but only after being on my feet alot.
If it continues I'd definitely say its better to be safe than sorry and have it checked out. Good luck. I hope the pain eases up.

It sounds like a combo of round ligament pain and constipation all at once......I have similar pains , takes my breath away to go from sitting to standing and vice versa..... Some nights I'm up all nights with cramps -!: moving while siting is very achy too..... But in my previous pregnancy I had bad cramps in the 2nd & 3rd tri, my dr told me if you are ever in tears from the pain than it's a good idea to call the dr or visit the triage......

And the few times I did have to go in because of the pain , they have me an ultrasound, hooked my belly up to the monitor for a few hrs, and checked everything ...... My pains ended up being mainly from extremely low fluid..... In a small person and my fluid was borderline emergency delivery and closely monitored..... There was no cushion between baby and my body so I felt everything And my organs and insides were very bruised...... U never know but it's always better safe than sorry! GL!

Sounds like the round ligament pain I'm getting. I would get it looked at to make sure all is well but your scan was great so I'm sure little miss is fine.

Thanks everyone, actually after the shower last night they were completely gone!
And all day I felt pretty good, but just now got up and could hardly get up. It seems like it starts at a certain time? Maybe I'm sitting too much? But yesterday I was on my feet...

LoveMy2Boys, low on fluids could definitely be it, I didn't drink enough yesterday and tried to up my intake today. I really need to drink more.

If this is RL pains, wow :( I'm not in tears yet, I think I'll just take a nice warm bath this evening. Hopefully it is just RL pains and it will help a bit.

I had to use a special support band under my belly with my first, I was in my feet a lot and really straining my stomach muscles...... U can find them at babies r us, and some maternity stores ..... I forgot what exactly its called but it really helped a lot! Dehydration def can cause horrid cramping too :/. I had actual low amniotic fluid that caused a lot with my second

I had a very similar problem last week (except the cramping was around my lower back). I ended up calling my doctor to ask about it, and after describing everything, she said it sounded like the baby had moved into a position where his head was laying against my tailbone, causing the pain. She must have been right, because he was really active for a little bit and then the pain was gone, so he must have switched positions. It could be that your baby has her head against your hip bone. My doctor said if the pain continued, to get down on all fours and rock back and forth to try and urge baby to reposition themselves.

Same thing happened to me. Doc said I pulled a muscle and I was on bed rest a day or so.
