UGH... Well yesterday and today I have been REALLY stressed. I've been arguing with my job, and it's been awful. Today, I was on the phone with them bright and early, and started yelling. A few minutes later I started getting sharp pains in my lower abdomen. It kept coming and going all morning, and I was trying to take care of stuff, and ignore it. I was feeling lots of pressure on my bladder but didnt need to use the bathroom, and the pains kept getting worse. Me and my mom went to lunch with my aunt and cousin and I kept trying to ignore it. When we were driving away I just started bawling. It hurt so bad. So I told my mom and she told me to call my doctor. I called and they had me come into labor and delivery. They had me hooked up to the machines, monitoring contractions which actually stopped after lying down for a bit, and forgetting about work and stuff. And getting some kind of medicine. And monitoring our little girls heartbeat. Which stayed strong. They checked and I was dehydrated, and they said that this was caused from the stress of my job (most likely). They also checked my cervix (OUCH!) and it was not dilating.

They let me go home after a while, but said that I was on bed rest and to keep myself hydrated. It was the scariest thing thats ever happened to me. But shes ok, and I just have to stay in bed. Actually I'm on the couch watching tv...

Anyway, just wanted to vent/talk about it. It was terrifying.

I've been so stressed lately and I keep getting pains. I've been trying to ignore them lol

:hugs: Awwww babe, I am so sorry you experienced this......but the good news is all is OK!!! :hugs:

Your body is obviously trying to tell you something hun, and if work is getting to you, I would take this opportunity to go and see your GP and get signed off work so you can relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

Take it easy babe and remember, nothing it worth getting yourself so worked up about, the main thing is your health and your baby's health.

I hope you are gettin over your ordeal OK babe! Have a nice relaxing weekend, AND drink! :hugs:x

:hugs: That is very scary. Im glad you and your baby are ok. Keep those feet up. Hopefully things get sorted with your Work. :hugs:

aww, that is so scary!!

please keep us posted.

Make sure you drink your water~ Hope you feel better soon~ take it easy hun, maybe try and get some sleep.

Oh hun sorry to hear about your experiance.

I'm sorry you had to go through all that, it wasn't easy for you....

But am glad that all is over and nothing was wrong with you and baby...

Things are gonna be better now for you, cheers!

Glad to hear nothing is wrong. Hopefully you will be doing a whole lot of nothing for a bit.

Im glad things are going better now for you :hugs: did your doctor say if the stress becomes to much he might take you off work early??

Thanks for the replies everyone. :hugs:

Toria definitely get checked. I was trying to ignore it all morning, partly because I didn't want to overreact or anything, but my DH, mom, and the nurse told me that while your pregnant, you cant take ANY chances.

I've been resting since we got home from the hospital, and DH is taking good care of me. I've got an empty schedule all weekend, and will just relax, and drink lots.

Also, I am already off of work. My nurse has had me off for a while now, because of the HG, and I'm still getting sick and having to take Zofran everyday. I feel a bit better than the 1st tri, but not much. The problem with my work was that they sent me a letter two days ago saying that I was terminated on 11/21. But I'm on approved medical leave, and they have to offer you job security while your on leave. And them terminating me caused my benefits to be terminated, and will also cause my disability benefits to stop coming. But legally they can not terminate me. So it was just frustrating because they were giving me the run around, saying my leave was not approved, so I faxed them a letter, (from the leave department) showing it was approved. I also told them that my mom has already spoke to her attorney about it. That was the only time that they started to kinda listen to me.

It's also scary not having job security because of the mortgage & auto market right now. I'm a personal banker for Wells Fargo and basically I sell products to people. I do accounts for consumer and businesses, but the majority of my commission comes from the loans that I do. But Wells just took a $1.4 billion loss on their second mortgages, and thats my department. So if I remain terminated, finding another job when I'm ready to go back to work is not going to be easy.

Sorry for another long post, but THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE KIND WORDS. IT HELPS KNOWING THEIR IS SOMEONE TO TALK TO. :hugs:

That must have been so scary hun but Im so pleased everything is ok.

Take it easy, make sure someone is looking after you.

xxxx

Oh hon, I'm so so sorry you had to go through that. Thankfully you and the baby are fine and nothing serious happened. I hope you get the rest you need and get rid of all that stress. As for your work, I really hope they don't mess with it. At least you have the proof that the leave was approved and that should help. Threatening legal action is always good, most people end up admitting they're wrong when they're faced with that. I wish you goodluck hon, I hope all goes well. :hugs:We're always here for you :hugs:
