:( bad dream last night !!!

I actually had a dream last night that i went for my 12 week scan and was told there was no heartbeat, all i can remember is i broke down crying hysterical screaming not again not again, and then woke up in a horrible sweat.

Now im so scared of having my scan, all i keep thinking is, what if there is no heartbeat, what if my little bean died weeks ago and i dont know


Anyone else having or had bad dreams?

I'm not having bad dreams but I am feeling the same way. I have got my scan on Friday. I had a 6 wk scan all was fine and I saw the heartbeat. Around 9 1/2 wks lost all symptons which people say is usual but can't help thinking something is wrong. Keep thinking when I go for scan there will be no heartbeat am scared but trying to act normal for hubby. Really don't want to go through another mc. When is your scan? Hopefully we will both be fine and wonder what all the panic was about. x

I dreamt that i was bleeding (which i didn't do last time as i had an MMC). The dream was so believable that i vividly remember crying and going to the loo to sort myself out. Waking up and realising it was a dream was such a huge relief!!

I'm sure we go to bed with these things on our mind and they infiltrate our dreams.

Stacey, you poor thing.

I often get bad dreams these days and nearly all of them involve miscarriage or a terrible scan. The way I try and think about it is that our dreams are just our minds sorting out information - a bit like filing!

My Mum always says that dreams turn out opposite as they are based on our worst fears.

I hope this is the case for us!

I have had lots of them sweetie usually that I go to the cot and theres nothing in it...
I told the doc and she said that if I wasnt having bad dreams and being scared shed worry she knows I dont really open up and now she knows im dealing with my fears :HUGS: xxx
