what I understood is that because my kidneys suffer from focal segmental (basically I drop proteins) the placenta was unable to send the baby the amount of nutrients that she needed...add to it that I suffer from high blood pressure so it got worse.... anyway went to the doctor and they performed an emergency C section. Long story shot, baby came out at 29 weeks but her development was as if she was 27 weeks.
you know what happens next... baby has to stay in the hospital to gain weight and all that. My advise if you're going through or will go through this, you will need EXTRA amounts of patience.
Baby was supposed to stay one month at the hospital..one month turned into a month and a half.. then she suddenly had a necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) which basically it is an infection that affects her intestines, so baby had to be with antibiotics for 10 days and couldn't have oral feeding until completing that 10 days treatment....so a month and a half turned into almost two months and now she has to start from the beginning: again oral feeding little by little .... so doctor said she will be another month and a half in the hospital.

well that's my story lol. it kinda sucks, i thought i was gonna have her home for christmas...

I would just thank god that your baby is going to be okay! she came out early! God bless her and you!

Wow, so 3 1/2 months in the hospital? That's terrible, poor baby. I can't imagine not being able to have my baby at home for so long. Hope she has no more problems and lots of hugs to you.
