I posted a thread on the 1st trimester area, but figure this might be more suited here? I've had 2 miscarriages both before 6 weeks, both started with horrible lower back pain a few days before brown spotting appeared.

I was driving to work this morning and had HORRIBLE pressure on my lower back, in the middle but a little bit towards the left side. It went away, but since I've had this terrible achy pain all in my lower back, almost feels like the pain is on the bone? Hard to describe.

Is/has anyone else had this & all turned out ok? I'm crying my eyes out b/c I'm absolutely TERRIFIED of having another MC, and I just don't know what to do. It's pointless to go to the hospital or doctor because I'm not even 5 weeks yet and nothing would show up on a scan anyways.

So sorry about your previous m/c. I've never had a lose but I did suffer terribly from day one until about 10w with horrible lower back pain, my dr said it was my pelvic muscles. Sounds really similar to what you are experiencing. I didnt have any spotting and everything has gone smoothly so far. Good luck and h&h 9 months xx

Sorry for your losses. I am have a 3 rd old and am currently 5 wks pregnant. I have also had 2 miscarriages one before my son was conceived and the last one before xmas all were 6 week losses. i have had backpain with each mc and with my son. I have read it is quite common to have early bachache as durle to ligaments stretching. I can sympathise how upsetting this is im on tenderhooks myself its horrible. Im going to try and push for a viability scan at 7 weeks to put my mind at rest. All the best of luck hope everything goes ok :-) Lucy xx

Thanks ladies, I feel a lot better reading your comments. =)
It eased up yesterday but now I'm at home after church resting up b/c the pains started coming back again. Maybe I'm just stressing myself out too much, but it's quite difficult to be positive about everything.
