Does anyone know if baked clams are safe to eat? I'm 9w 2d if that makes any difference. I looked online and it only really says stuff about regular clams. Not baked clams (ya know the ones with the breading and what now :p). I don't wanna just risk it and eat it and then find out theyre high in mercury and I just put my baby at risk. Does anyone know the mercury levels in baked clams also?

Hmmm. Maybe call up your OB office and ask? That's a good question

Clams are clams. . Baked or otherwise. They still carry a higher mercury content. But unless you're eating them regularly I think the risk is low with one meal.

Consult with your Dr if you're unsure poppet xx

My pregnancy app says baked clams are safe. Avoid raw. It gave me no warnings on Mercury so it's either very low or none.
