Bald spot on 5yo scalp

Hi there,

I was brushing my DDs hair after her bath and was shocked to find this small ball spot on her scalp. It’s smooth in the centre and as you can see from the picture the are loads of wee hairs that look cut around it. We though she might have got ahold of a razor but she has so much hair there is no way she would have got that close. She said she fell at nursery while running I. The grass and it happened that way. I don’t really believe her because she said it didn’t hurt. I’m so confused, any thoughts on what this is is appreciated!

That to me looks like it’s been cut with a razor or other sharp object . Could you ask nursery if they have any idea what’s happened

Hmmm...it does look like someone shaved it! If you’re sure that didn’t happen, then maybe make an appointment to see her doctor, but it really looks shaved.
