What do u use/recomend for bathing your LO's? Until now we've used one of these: https://www.mothercare.com/gp/produ...?ie=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=44537031&mcb=core

Which was fine when he was little, but now he's much bigger and more active i'm scared Oli will tip it when he's in it as he lunges forward. I was just going to get him a normal plastic baby tub but dont see the point cus within a months time he should be able to use one of those bath seats once he can sit up...not sure what the best thing to do is? x

I have one of these only not blue! Suitable from birth to 2 yrs old. Not used it yet but I will be as I find the bath a pain in butt when I can use a small more comfy space for her properly (imo) that she can soak in nicely - You'd need a bathroom or space to store it after use I guess

I used one of these with Jack, i loved it
can be used in big bath or baby bath, i used it from nearly day 1 in big bath

We used a plastic bath that you can use two ways. Laying down for small babies and on the other end sitting for older babies. But now, I find Simon enjoys being in deeper water. I bathe him in our sink! We've all been bathed in the sink in my family for a bit and enjoyed it alot. ;) He sits unsupported so it goes really well. We have a blast. We play with plastic cups and pour water on his head, hands, feet and he likes it.

I have a bath from Mamas & Papas which at one end is specially designed for babys until they can sit up on their own so the same as what SimonsMum suggested. I dont know what i'd do with out it was we also have a bath support & I was scared of it tipping or something as Olivia loves to kick her feet & try and splash with them.

The support that Jo suggested looks pretty sturdy though.

We just put Tyler in the big bath laying down flat with just enough water to bout his ears he absolutely loves it kicks and gets so excited.

Yeah I'd agree with Kookie. Let him have a nice free splash about.

im the same...

I used to have that seat sami, but now Adam kicks about he falls out of it, so i laying him flat on a bath mat in a couple of inches of water, he loves kicking and splashing about

i do the same, just lie him in the bath in shallow water and he loves it. Can have a really good kick and splash.

We use the support that Jo suggested & Alex loves being in it & kicking & splashing about, not sure it would be worth you buying it now though as your LO is over 4 months & i'm not sure how long the support is suitable for. Alex is already lifting his bum up when he kicks & i'm scared he might manage to lift himself out of it somehow!

I've got a seat that goes in the bath that we used for Oliver when he was about 6 months old, so when Alex is a few months older he'll be using that instead!

i used a baby bath for the first 3 months then once he was getting bigger i used the mamas and papas (i think it was Jo that said she had it) in the big bath.. now like most i just put him sitting up or laying down whichever he prefers and he loves splashing i brought him some rubber ducks lol xxx
