Anyone watched it? I saw it yesterday and it's really stuck with me - broke my heart thinking of what the poor girl went through in real life

Really, really upset me. I have been in an abusive relationship and it hit home, just how dangerous relationships like that are. Plus the little girl watching broke my heart x

Watched it when it was on last week or so and heartbroken can't even describe it. The final scene had me hyperventilating i was crying so much. My husband has to console me for a good 15 minutes.

I was raised in Domestic Violence so it hit home for me from the little babies point of view. the whole story was so tragic.

i watched it the other night, OH couldnt watch it all knowing i had been through it with my ex.
it was horrible, the whole way through i was thinking why has she not left him but then realised its not that easy!

it was horrible but it was good for others to watch who havnt been through it so they could understand what its like xx

Absolutely awful. I think this should be shown to teenagers in schools etc. I think it's based on the case of Casey Brittle if I'm right?

Yeah that's my understanding too. I also think it should be shown in schools.

It's so easy for DV to just be a vicious cycle. I grew up in a occasionally violent household until I was about 10 and it took me a long time to realise it is not how relationships should be and nobody should have to accept violence at home.

I watched this, that last scene where the little girl was calling for her mummy in the bed while he attacked her was horrendous!
As far as I'm aware it is being shown in some schools as part of year 10/11 PSED type lessons. xx

I'm going to watch it later i think, i've heard so much about it.

Its great for awareness, but the most uncomfortable and distressing viewing i've seen in a long long time. The end is just... well I wish I could erase it from my memory.
