I am not charting everyday at the moment as this is the first month and I am getting used to it, plus I get up a 4.30 some mornings and 8am others so i am finding a happy medium.

Anyway, the temps I did take before ovulation were around the low 34/35 C (93/95 F)
I didn't take temps during ovulation but I did ov as I had 4 days of positive opks (4th one being vvvv strong line) Now I am 5DPO, took the temp yesterday and its was back down to 34. Today its high at 36.5

Am I doing it wrong?
Its not illness as I feel fine.
What I have learned is after ovulation it goes up higher and hovers around the high state for a while until either af when it then dips, or it carries on in the high state to confirm pregnancy.
I know I am not pg.

But the low one yesterday and high one today are confusing me. As well as the constant low ones I keep reading before ovulation. They seem much lower then on others charts.
Tips?

well it could be one of two things i think :haha: you might of implanted, your temp dips and then picks back up again, or you could be like me i had pos test on the wed but didnt actually ov till saturday so it could be you actually ov yesterday and now you will get three high temps to confirm.

Sorry couldnt give anymore info and mine might be totally incorrect anyway (i am known to be blonde :haha:

Gave me something to think about. I never thought of implantation.

I haven't charted bbt properly so it might be normal for me. Will test again tomorrow and see if there is any change (my luck if will go down again. I am like a yoyo)

Well tested at excatly same time today. Was 36.3 so still high.
Guess this is the normal for people. Just wondered as the temps before were so low they were not even on the chart I have!! (low 34/35)

Perhaps you ovulated later since you didnt take temps when you got your positive OPK's. A positive OPK doesn't mean you have ovulated. You can only tell for certain by taking your temperature. The body can go through the motions by giving positive OPK's and ewcm etc but not actually release an egg.

i have just been in informed a pos opk can show 36-48 hours before you actually ov :)

Well I have had neg opk the last few days as I thought I might have missed it ov. It was positive Tue-Sat and then neg Sun-wed.
Will test again tomorrow with opk

Maybe its just the way my temps are. This is the 1st month I have temp so I am not sure how my body temp runs.

Thanks for the tips
