BBT question!! Please help!

Hello ladies! I'm going to start taking my BBT tomorrow morning... What is the "normal" temp for before and after ovulation??

From what I've read, it's not the temperature, but the pattern of temperatures. Fertility friend has a pretty good FAQ about BBT if you want to study up on it. Good luck! This is my first cycle of temping too.

Usually your post-ovulation temp is roughly .5 degrees higher than your pre-ovulation temps. However, the temps pre - and post - ovulation can fluctuate. For example, my pre-ovulation temps range from 97.4-97.8 degrees, and after I ovulate, they are between 98.1 and 98.5 degrees. My cycle is regular and my temps are usually around the same every month. Of course, for everyone the temp range is different, I was just giving you an example

Thank you!! I just started temping 2 days ago, half way through my cycle (at least that's what I'm thinking)...My temp today was 97.65 and yesterday was 97.52... my period is due Tuesday, so we'll see if it drops! If it doesn't drop, I'm assuming that either, 1, I'm pregnant... or 2, I'm not ovulating!... Here's to hoping PREGNANCY!
