Been admitted... induction soon... aarghhhh!!!!

Had my routine hosp appointments yday and our lil girl has had a growth spurt (I have GD) so I was admitted with a view to being induced.

Still waiting for an induction time, hopefully its tonight sometime.

I'm so nervous! Think its just hit me that I'm going to be a mum in the next few days!

Hoping for a good induction story, I'll post an update soon.

Thanks for all the advice and general chitchat in the past 8 and half months xxx

Thanks for all the well wishes ladies.

I've had 4 lots of the gel inserted over the past 24 hours, been examined numerous times and still not even a cm dilated

Specialist came by to tell me that I have an arch in my pelvic bone which means it would be very hard to give birth naturally even if I was fully dilated so they have recommended a c-section for tomorrow.

They said the baby is very big and will most probably get distressed if we tried a natural birth so I'm going to go with the section.

Really really scared and nervous as I don't know what to expect. Also not sure how I'm going to cope with the recovery period.

I'll be reading up on the csection birth stories on here tonight.

I'll post an update and hopefully a nice easy going birth story soon xx

The most important thing is to have our lo out and health.
I am planning to have a vbac but my ob told me its 50% chance, but am not scared because my recovery process was pretty fast and never had any complication related to csection.

Wish u all the best, just take it positive as the safest way for both your lives dia.
