..........chosen lacey's going home outfit and her other clothes for in hospital. vests, baby grows, booties etc and i am now washing them all. once dry i am going to put them in my hospital bag 8-[8-[

with lacey's going home outfit its some cute dungarees with pink butterflies on. butterflies are our thing for lexi. when ever we see butterflies we think of lexi and we have pretty ones around our home in different rooms so a peice of lexi is with us at all times. with butterflies being on lacey's outfit i feel like lexi is apart of it all, i dont want my baby girl thinking i am replacing her or fogrettting her  xx

That is such a lovely idea hun. Sending you :hugs:

I see you haven't gone long to go now, how exciting, in a few weeks you'll be holding you precious little girl. What day are you being induced?

Are you having bubs at the NNUH? I'm in Norwich too.

hi hun.

thanks x

yes i am having her at the NNUH. i take it you will be having your little one there too?

i didnt give birth there last time as i was away visiting family when we found out lexi had died so i decided to stay in southampton and give birth there instead. so i hope they are nice when i go in? im being induced on the 23rd april fingers crossed for a favourable cervix or some dialation already by that time :haha:

so far every person who has seen us down there has been really friendly. as soon as they see my notes and see i have had a stillborn baby they try and be extra helpful which is nice but as you know it would be nice to be treated like all the other ladies and have your child you lost at home alive. xx

Hello Kirsty hun.
You are sooo brave well done! The outfit sounds wonderful and such a touching thing to have Lexi Butterflies on there
She will NEVER EVER think you are replacing or forgetting her, she will aways be a part of your family.
cant wait to see pics of Lacey what a gorgeous name aswell, your princesses will be sooo proud of you.

I will probably end up there too, hoping for a home birth but seems unlikely they will let me. They have always been great with me up there too, we are lucky to have such a good hospital.

23rd April, ooh, thats real close. I'll be thinking of you and keeping all crossed everything is favourable for the induction and will specially be looking out for your birth announcement.

I know what you mean about being treated like all the others and having your lost baby at home, alive with you. It's hard to not feel guilty this time around but I think our angels will always look over our little bubs due soon. I think it will be very special when Lacey wears her going home outfit.

Must also say, love the name you've chosen x

That sounds beautiful. Lexi knows you aren't replacing her, she'll be proud to be a big sister!
