Been told the wrong gender once before need to be certain!

Hi everyone so to cut a long story short. At 11 weeks pregnant me and my partner did the blood gender scan with nimbles diagnosis. My result came back a baby boy. However I have a scan yesterday at 17 weeks and 4 days and was told I'm having a baby girl. I will attached the potty shot. What do you think? Definitely a girl? X

To me, it looks different to my girls potty shot, mine was 3 definite lines that looked like a burger on a bun. Seems like boy to me that. x

Was it one of these paid for gender guessing blood scans that you did or a Dr harmony type one ?

Yes it was a paid blood test. I think nimbles diagnosis is the same as the harmony one. They are meant to look for the x or y chromosomes in your blood. I was told a boy result but with my gender scan shown above it does look different to my girls potty shot. I'm just a little confused! Xx

A quick google for the nimble test has come up with quite a few stories of wrong results. Was the tech pretty certain on the scan? if so then I would go with the girl guess as it does look like quite a clear shot, are you able to book a private scan to make sure either way?

Thanks everyone for your replies. It's driving me crazy!!!! I'm dying to know what I'm having. I really don't want to fork out any more money for another private scan, I have my 20 week scan in 2 weeks so hopefully will get another potty shot. I hope I can stay sane for the next 2 weeks! Xx

Looks girly but could pass for a boy too... not sure!

It doesn't absolutely scream girl to me, and I'd be more inclined to believe a blood test over an ultrasound. I don't think I could wait 2 weeks lol xxxxx

That looks like a boy to me. From what I have heard, the blood tests cannot be wrong if they tell you boy. I think if they tell you girl, there is a slight chance that there is faint y that wasn't detected.
It seems to be sticking out too far to be a girl. However, I'm not a sonographer, so could be totally wrong.

Not much help here but yeah... idk. I mean... I can see why the tech says girlie but it also didn't immediately jump out as girl to me. More like hm I'm confused. So... sorry! I don't personally know anybody's whose bloods came back incorrect but I also only know like 5 people who have done it so not much of a representative sample.
