being pregnant and lazy

What a fab thread. I haven't read a good bunfight for AGES.

FWIW I love reading second tri since i've been lucky enough to progress this far. So much of this forum is filled with pain and sadness so its nice to read the one kind of 'normal' section.

In terms of laziness, who gives a flying shit what other people are doing in their pregnancies?!

NB: I still work full time and have a busy stressful job, but at home my husband treats me like an invalid (bless him) and won't let me cook/clean or anything so I have got a bit lazy at home I must admit!

Ohhh, I've got nobody to make my dinner! OH is at work until 2, maybe I'll get him to make my dinner when he gets home! ;)

call take away, subway deliver to homes now

no way!!!! Im just waiting on KFC and Maccers to do delivery and I will be in my element... thing is im sitting on the couch and I would have to open two doors and walk though the living room into the hall find my keys to unlock the door etc...hmmm think ill just stay hungry

wow kfc and maccers delivery now that sounds gr8!!

I'm not being lazy, but I've found I havent been able to do as much as I normally do. I get tired out. I find it quite offensive to be called lazy. I'm not using my pregnancy as an excuse, but sometimes, I get tired out from just walking up the stairs and feel faint.

Well I definitely overdid it with my shower as I have been sick! Fortunately poor DH is so ill with flu he's having to come home from work so he can look after me right?

Just wondering.... does anyone have a spare or surplus manslave I can borow for a few hours a day as mine has sodded off. I do have a child I can train up in the evenings but unfortunately education is compulsary during the day so I have to send him to school!

I'm too lazy to keep up with this thread. Someone take my number and give me a live update via phone call please. But wait my phone is on the other side of the bed, who will come and fetch that for me and the energy it takes to answer a phone call, I don't even want to think about it. Arrrgghh feck it I just can't be bothered...

im hungryyyyyy

DH is refusing to be my slave today, he is going through the 'im not your servant' phase dammit.

there's always one who tries to fight it.

Withhold the sex until he learns.

I have been since July.

Hmmmm, he's a tough one then, this one. Will have to think of something harsher.

Remove the xbox (or get someone else to remove it, given that your arms and legs aren't working).

weighing in late... definitely every pregnant person experiences differences from the next.. Also, it depends what life is like at the moment.. I was like the OP in my first pregnancy.. I worked as a waitress/server for a Hilton hotel in banquets. I did 12-15hr days 4-5 days a week. I went to school outside of work time. I maintained my home. When you have more than one kid though, it wears on you... with my second it was those long hours, plus a toddler who was potty training, plus a household and new marriage/planning marriage, plus school. NOW for a third time, it's long hours (work at hospital now so not as hard of work, but still long hours), TWO kids - one a toddler one has to be run all over for sports and needs homework help, etc.-, a (larger)house (more cleaning LOL), a husband who doesn't cooperate, etc etc etc... I've noticed this time around I am definitely being "lazy" and dont feel bad at all about it! Kid needs a drink? Go ask big brother or daddy! Breakfast time? 5 more minutes in bed please! Invited somewhere? Sorry, swollen feet and back ache!

This afternoon I have made good use of the babys new pushchair and sat in it while my mum pushed me to the shops!

well I got my mum and dad to take a leg each and hoist me in, the baby is going to love the cosytoes, very snug.
