being pregnant and lazy

Lol new ttc i was thinking the same thing. I will wait till i have my breakfast sorted and then sit down to read the 23 pages that i have missed out on! x

i need a poo, do you think hubby would carry me up the stairs to the bathroom so i can go?

Personally I worked full time for as long as I could but unfortunately had to put my health and my child’s health first as I started to have a long list of medical issues caused by my pregnancy, so was put out of work and now find it very difficult to do normal things around the house, not that I am lazy but I will either pass out (low blood pressure & anemia) or end up in extreme amounts of pain (sciatica) on top of having extreme nausea, my anemia and low blood pressure also causes the need for me to sleep a lot as I get very exhausted. I am a very independent person, always have been but unfortunately as much as I love being pregnant and so look forward to having this beautiful baby I am carrying my body doesn’t seem to agree with pregnancy (have had issues in both of my pregnancies that put me out of work). Honestly I wish that I could get up and do the normal things that I used to but it is just not possible for me right now, but definitely worth it for my baby. I used to work 10 to 14 hour days 5 to 6 days a week, come home, finish up work and clean the house, I also used to be able to go out shopping but now unfortunately have to do that in a wheelchair if I am spending any amount of time out walking around. TBH I am not able to stand in the kitchen for very long and do have trouble getting off the couch from time to time due to the pain that I am in or the dizzy spells I am having so OH does have to make me something to eat or get me a drink sometimes but I do what I can when I can and he understands that. For me somedays I honestly need help to roll over as I am in that much pain but I can honestly say I am far from lazy.

What the hell am I supposed to do? OH is away for the night and I couldn't possible walk up 13 stairs and peel back the duvet myself. I need to ensure he organises a Stannah stair lift for his next trip away. I will have to sleep on the sofa, sitting up. In my own urine.

The dog doesn't pull his weight around here either, thinks looking between me and his bowls with wild eyes with his tongue hanging out is going to make me get up and fill the things with food and water? There's a cat upstairs and 4 toikets if he's that desperate.

Couldnt he just build you an extension and fit a downstairs on suite next to the sofa?

Do it where you are and then get him to clean it up.

That;ll LEARN him for not noticing your need.

I wish there was a Laugh out Loud button as well as a Thanks button! :)

F*** - you british ladies are so lazy - going to SLEEP? Sheesh. Pregnancy is not an excuse for sleeping. Good night!

I love the intermittent posts about the OP - clearly these ladies are too lazy to read where this thread has gone. Tsk.

I hear you! I've forgotten how...uh...interesting the first few pages were.

Somewhere in here though, I got the energy to become "chat happy" Woo hoo?

Well I am uber lazy, 'cos I managed to fit in a sleep this afternoon whilst "working" (luckily I work from home so this was in bed, not just crashed on the edge of a desk in an open plan office, dribbling all over my paperwork!) I did however manage to send a few work emails at various points this evening to prove I was working late, in between catching up on the last 20 pages that had appeared whilst I was snoring away!

I typed it as I read so still had the reminder of the first few pages I guess.
Glad to see you found the energy to get chatty lol.

Ok. I just spent my entire afternoon reading this thread. Everytime I moved to the next page, the number of page increases by 5! ... and yet I still read every post, cuz I'm super non-lazy like that (plus, you British girls made me catch up 30 pages, I might as well pull my weight).

My work thanks you all for the productivity they're getting outta me (at least I'm not asleep)!
