I found this board last night and i am so pleased!
I have a pitutary tumour (prolactinoma)which was diagnoised in April O7, due to not having a period since Nov 06. My prolactin levels were 14,000, a normal persons is around 200, my last blood test in April,were levels of 960. Having been trying for a family since Nov 06.
Well i went to the doctors on thursday having done 3 pregnancy tests and all being postive. Dr put dought in my mind as she aked why i thought i was pregnant and i could really only say that i have been very tired, tummy being blotted and had toliet trouble oh and of course not had a period since may which was my first one since Nov 06! She felt my tummy and said she couldnt feel any thing so if i was i were in the early stages. I had a blood test and finally after lots of chasing i got the results and they were postive. Think they tested that HGC, which is a sign of pregnacy i think. I feel really scared and still dont belive it as i dont really feel any differant, i havent had any sickness or anything. Stopped taking my medication, but cant see my specialist till September.
What will happen now, how can they reassure and tell me that i am and that i havent misscarried? should i expect an internel ultra sound, how do they tell you how far gone you are?
What should i expect now, i just dont have a clue.
Any advice of what will happen

if you bloods come back with a postive then you must be pregnant thay must be high levals of hcg to be pregnant congrats to you and your other half dont worry and just think about what you have in your tummy when i was pregnant with my son i didnt have any signs i was pregnant then at 6 months i couldnt stop being sick so every one is differant you might be one of the lucky ones and dont have any thing good luck keep postive 
Welcome and congratulations! As some of the others have said your blood tests should show that you are pregnant (your HCG levels double every couple of days or so--and they can get a rough estimate of how far gone you are from those). If they do send you for an early scan (generally anything before 12 weeks is considered early) than the scan would be done internally.
