Belly button polyp bleeding.

My LO has an umbilical polyp, aka a Umbilical granuloma (on her belly button), last week the doctor put silver nitrate on it to get rid of it but that didn't work. It has no nerve endings or anything so she isn't in pain with it but today I noticed its bleeding. Not loads but there is a small patch of blood on her vest.
Her health visitor is out on Friday but shall I call the nurse/doctor at my GP surgery? I don't know what to do.

My lo had this, its really worrying when you see blood and weeping for weeks on end. Go back to your gp and get another dose of silver nitrate, they can do 3 treatments of this, after that im not sure what happens but the second treatment cleared my lo's up and she now has a lovely neat belly button

Thank you, we just got back, I called the doc & he said to bring her straight in as he had a free appointment. 2nd dose of nitrate done so fingers crossed! It did worry me, seeing blood but thankfully it causes no pain
