Belly Button Question!!

Okay, this might sound like a daft question, but at what stage (if at all) does your belly button pop out during pregnancy? I'm almost 27weeks, and mines is still in, so do you think mines will stay in?

And to mums whose belly buttons have popped out already, or in a previous pregnancy, does it just happen overnight?

Everyones different really, with my first my belly button popped at about 33/34 weeks. Not like a literal 'pop' lol happened over weeks and weeks, gradually pushed out until it was completely level with the rest of my bump then carried on going until it was poking out This time round its starting to level out already so im going to have another outie i think!

i cant remember when with my first 2 but its popped already (around 19/20 weeks) this time lol and yes it did seem to happen over night lol! It goes back in after lol so im not worried but all my friends took the micky out me cos all you can see through my top is the belly button sticking out lol. They would say stuff like "oh i thought that was you coming along the street, your belly button was waving at us" !!! lol cheeky gits !!

Hehe... I won't mind if mines does, I just wondered, because my bump seems to constantly grow overnight, I'm just half expecting to wake up one day with my belly button poking out too!

Mine is less deep IYKWIM and I can see a circle around it where my old belly button "rim" used to be but it hasnt popped yet. x

This is my first and I am alomost 22 weeks. I can see my belly button getting less deep as well. It's also getting fierce itchy as well!
I don't like the idea of it 'popping', i keep imagining it getting caught in things and stuff
I'm sure it doesn't though, that's just in my head!

Natalie.. I've been totally thinking the same thing as you. I'm 27 weeks tomorrow with our first bub. My belly button is definately shallower now, but still no signs of it popping out

Aw, our babies are one day apart Ozzi! Think mines is shallower too, It'll just be strange if it does pop out, and if theres any sensation from it?

I am 35w and I still have my flexible belly bar in! My belly button isn't as deep as what it was, but it's still not popped out.

It doesn't pop out for everyone. Mine never popped out with my son. By the end it was pretty much even with my belly, but never got to the point of being out further than my belly.

If it is one thing I have paranoia about in a big way is the belly button popping thing...with my son it never popped thankfully but I only managed to make it to 35 weeks when he was born. It is ridiculously deep and I have had nightmares where my stomach looks like a gigantic boob with a massive nipple where my belly button is.

But I have been told that not everyone pops and happens slowly usually.

I was wondering this too ha I'm nearly 26 weeks and my belly button is def on the way out its not as deep as it used to be ha ... I absolutely hate outies ha so im not lookin forward to it hah x

I'm almost 24 weeks and mines still really deep does this mean it will stay in?I really hope so I don't want an outie and my husband would be really freaked out if it did lollll!!!
