Belly Dropped - Lightening @ 38 weeks!!

So.... I thought my belly was dropping gradually over the last few weeks - no chance - when you lighten, you LIGHTEN! LOL

I'd just got back from a shopping trip with my OH, I was carrying some bags into the house when I felt an almightly weight/pressure in my pelvis - bit like a sack of potatos being slung in there! - thought it might be my imagination and asked OH, who agreed it looked like baby had slid down.

I took a picture on Monday at 37+5 weeks (Left picture) - and took a similar one today at 38+3 (Right picture) - and my belly now resembles a ski slope

I thought I'd post it up incase any ladies wanted to see a comparison? I looked on Google for some but there ain't many around!

Thanks hun - good to get someone elses opinion - you can go crazy looking for the smallest sign! Fingers crossed he won't be too long making an appearence.

I've been feeling loads of pressure in my pelvis yesterday...but unfortunately I don't think my little guy dropped yet I've been wondering what a dropped belly looks like compared to a non-dropped belly though so these pics def help!

That's quite a drop Yep...I'm slowly dropping...thinking since this is my 5th it'll happen at last minute...mine has been very gradual.

He's been 3/5 engaged for the last few weeks, but I think he went the extra bit today lol - Wow.... after 5 you must be so used to all this stuff - Congrats hun, hope it all goes smoothly for you.
