benefits help...

how do you manage!? thats loads! mat pay from gov is pretty much the same amount as income support but u get it weekly instead of fortnightly!mind you i suppose youd get working tax credits aswell. well it will drop when you get council tax benefit, but chick you need to check with your landlord that its ok because some dont accept it

sorry what do some landlords not accept?
erm.....i dunno how i afford it. benefits i suppose.
really should watch my finances more

my mat allowance is more than income support. was based on my average earnings before i left my job. worked out a fair amount a month.
that finishes next week and then i'll start freekin out!

mat allowance is usually 120 a week, well it was when i was looking into it to get it, but anyways some landlords dont accept housing benefit tenants... so you need to check if housing benefit will be paying your rent?

ive been here a year and my letting agency is great.
never had any bother with the money.
it comes to me because it doesnt cover my whole rent and comes off direct debit

yeah i know but you have a job and maternity pay. Just check, because if they find out your unemployed it changes things thats why i had such bother trying to get a flat, half the agencys wont accept unemployed tenants, better to find out and plan than them to find out and get mad,

they know im not employed. my mums my guarantor. always has been
i've never had any problem
its not a big agency, its two women and they understood and trusted me
