Just Wondering How Much Benefits Would i Get?
My Baby's Father Is A Student On An Apprenticeship For 2 Years, So I Can't Go Down The CSA Route For Now.
Im Sending Off My Child Benfits Claim Form (ch2) In The Morning And Just Wonderd How Much I Would Get, I Have Put On The Form Im Single But He IS On The Birth Certificate, Would That Make Any Diffrence?

Child Benefit isn't means tested nor does your relationship status matter. Everyone gets £20 a week for their first baby

I think for Child Tax Credits you phone up a number & they send out the form. As a single mum on income support I get £60 a week.

If you're on Income Support that should also rise to £60 a week

I'm assuming on this apprenticeship your ex gets a wage? If he does I think you may still be able to get something from him. Id give the CSA a call hun

child benefit takes about a week or two to come through and if you phone child tax up they send you the form straight away.

I sent my child tax back last week and still haven't heard anything yet but as its been bank holidays i guess that will delay things.
