Hi Girls,

I'm sorry but this has probably been asked hundreds of times, but what would you suggest as being the best breast pump for daily use?

Thanks

Tanya

Does it last long. Just that my sister had to use an electric pump but it was only the normal medela model and it only lasted a month. I'm hoping to get a little longer out of one

my baby is 3 months and still going strong.

Depends how and what for... i pump 3 times a day at work and have limited time. I have an Ameda double Lactaline electric and wouldn't be without it - you can control the speed and suction so you can trigger more letdowns. A double is essential if you're going to be pumping at work regularly I think. The guarantee on the motor is a year, unlike Medela which is 3 months (or was on my medela mini double electric, which conked out just after 3 months). The swing is meant to be very good though, just not adouble.

I pump every day and use the Avent single electric pump. I would definitely recommend it

I have medela swing. I was readmitted with feeding issues and this pump was recommended by the specialist paediatric nurse that seemed to know everything about breast feeding (I nicknamed her the boobie whisperer).

I have the Medela Swing & its fab but am considering investing in a double for when I go back to work in a month
