My 3 week old baby girl has terrible problems with colic/reflux. This has meant 3 weeks of sleepless nights for us! I am breastfeeding but DH and I have decided he is going to give a formula bottle at the 11.30pm feed so that I can go to bed and sleep 10pm-3am (when I will breastfeed). I'm just wondering which would be the best formula for her bearing in mind it's only going to be one bottle a day? Trying to avoid anything which may cause constipation as she's already in gaviscon which can cause this. Thanks for any advice.

Hipp organic is supposed to be light on the stomach.

Definitely Hipp Organic. Our LB had terrible colic for about 7 weeks after he was born and we tried absolutely everything (Colief, infacol, gripe water, cooled boiled water, winding after every ounce, sitting up when feeding, Dr Browns bottles...the list goes on) decided in the end to try changing his milk, and after hearing a lot of praise about Hipp, decided to give that a go....after just a couple of days he was a completely different baby! And 3 weeks down the line has had no more wind trouble :D

Ok great thanks. Is it widely available or do I get it at pharmacy? Do you think after 7 weeks your baby was starting to 'grow out' of colic anyway? (I'm hoping!!)

They say 12 weeks is when colic gets better.
