I would really like to give hypnobirthing a go, but I dont know if there are practices I can learn off a website, or if I have to have classes for it, as I really dont know anything about it at the minute.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please? x

I did a google for places near to you, however I dont know where in Lancashire you are,but this came up https://hypnobirthinglancashire.co.uk/default.aspx.

I am doing a course in Reading.

Below is also a link to qualified practitioners in your area, https://www.hypnobirthing.com/uk_lancashire.htm. That website also gives you an overview.

Excellent thanks!! I never even thought of doing that! :dohh: From the look of the postcode, it doesnt look too far away.
So is it something you really need classes for?x

You can buy a CD and book, and follow it, so I believe, but I personally thought I would get more out of the course.

Here is a link to CD and Book https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hypnobirth...2661/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1287337268&sr=8-2

You can get books and cds but you will benefit more from a course if you can afford them. Hope you do choose it, I am going to be using it this time around and everyone I've talked to that have used it, highly recommends it.

I wish I could afford a course but the nearest to me is far too much for us to afford but a few ladies here have suggested trying some pregnancy yoga as it'll teach you to relax, how to move and good breathing techniques.

I'm hoping to find a reasonably priced class nearby, the only one I can find right now is £9 a class! The MW mentioned theres a class that runs in the birthing center she thinks so will check out the posters next time I go to clinic!

Dont forget you are still able to get your £190 pregnancy grant after your 25 weeks gone. Good luck with finding a course well worth the money as you can use it time and time again.
