]We are buying tree this week and trying to decide between 3ft and 6 ft. If we got 3 ft it would go up on table out of reach of little hands, however not out of reach of my 2 pussy cats who on a yearly bases knock all the decorations off in the how long can they stay up game :haha: If we get 6ft tree it will be partially blocked off by corner sofa, lo will still be able to get decorations as will cats but should not be able to pull down on herself. What would people recommend. Last year LO with 5 months so was no worry, now she is will be 17 months and into everything :haha: I am hoping for voice of experience haha

I have a 6 foot, my LO's 17 months, and my oldest I had a 6ft when he was a toddler too and he never tried to touch it once. I have a feeling my youngest is not going to be as easy but here's to hoping :haha: x

I've got a 6ft but no experiance as LO was 6 month last year..this year 18 month and likes to touch and pull everything lol

Hopefully i will tell him no and he will stop..yeah like thats going to happen :haha:

lol my lo doesn't like word no and certainly doesn't listen to it, it just makes her more determined

Exactly the same here..He does something naughty i tell him No and he looks at me smiles and then laughs..its really funny though because he's so young :haha:

We have a 6ft and I tack it to the wall with parcel string and drawing pins so you can't see x

I would get a 6ft and begin convincing LO not to touch it :)

Ours is 5 foot, but shorter than 5 foot because there was a ridiculously long bit right on top where the angel goes to make it taller  so we shortened it cuz it looked silly. Id say its 4ft 8 :haha: Will keeping it next year too as we'll have a 5month old in a walker :dohh: :D going to invest in a taller on in a few years time.

We have a 4ft in my room and a 6 ft in the lounge (but its not up yet)

Callum isnt interested in the 4ft one but unsure on the 6ft as we havent put it up yet x

we may attempt the 6ft one then. Im going to be picking up decorations from cats anyway so lo may as well join in fun. She has already fallen in love with one particular decoration we r getting next weekend she keeps trying to pick up in shop it is a singing and dancing Christmas duck so hopefully that will keep her entertained haha

We have a 7ft x5ft wide tree and LO is 18 months, hes been really good with it so far x

Ours is a 6ft and put up the decorations yesterday and so far Colin's nabbed a few decorations off it but over all he's been pretty good with it. I put any breakable ones out of his reach though.

i just put the non breakable ones that it dont matter if they touch at the bottom of the tree. touch wood we have had no issues, they have been interested in it but not to the point of pulling things off. DS1s first christmas he was 10 months and with such small gaps i have had a 1or 2 year old every year since lol
