BETA numbers?

Hello all, My name is Miriam. I am a mother of one and am trying to conceive number 2. I have been trying to conceive for a few years now. I have a question. I am currently 5 weeks and 3 days, I had a beta blood test done and the nurse called today and said my numbers were 20,181. That seems super high to be in my fifth week? What do you all think? Thanks in advance.

Hi and congratulations to you!
I had mine tested at 5 wks as well and came in very high at 35,000. I thought that was crazy high but dr. said they were 'great'. I went in to have a scan at 6wks 4 days..found a good heartbeat and betas were up to 95,000! No sign on twins or anything wrong so far with the pregnancy forming, so they told me not to worry about it (though I still am!)
I bet your doctor will think it is a good, strong beta! Best of luck.
