Was just drying Bethanie's hair after her bath and noticed a patch of blood/small cut on her scalp. She hit her head earlier in the garden when she ran out to see Sonny (as I saw her holding her head saying ouch) but she didn't seem to be in much pain. I just asked her how it happened and she said she hit it on the bricks - the only place I can think of bricks being that she has today, is on the back wall of the house.

She has been since it happened (over an hour ago)

What would you do? call a doc? nhs direct? take her to a doc? or just check for different symptoms? which symptoms?

Thanks

Signs to worry about are being ill, dilated pupils and getting very sleepy, unable to stay awake sleepy. It sounds like she is fine, just a little bump.

i agree it sounds like shes fine honey, i would keep an eye out also for any sickness, she how she is, but you could always ring nhs direct if your at all concern, big :hugs: for her x

Yep sounds fine hun, just keep a eye on her x

she sounds fine hun x but if ur worried call nhs direct x

Look out for nausea, dizziness, abnormal sleepiness, dilated pupils and just any other odd behavior and if she's just not feeling well. If you notice any of these, see a doctor.

Thanks all

I went to NHS Directs self help guide to start with, which suggested taking her to A&E even if her head wasn't bleeding - but I thought that seemed a bit major considering she seemed fine. She has been very bubbly all night, ate all her dinner etc.. I did give her a little calpol in case she had any pain and have been watching her sleep and she seems alright. I screamed when I saw blood lol, so im glad shes ok! my poor little baby

Awww glad she seems ok and her usual self ...

x
