Better behaved during a wonder week?! What's going on?

Felix is supposed to be in WW8 right now. According to my app it started four days ago. Last wonder week he was a nightmare, but since Monday his behaviour has been wonderful and actually much better than normal. He's always been a baby that needs constant cuddles and attention, and likes to eat pretty much all the time. He's never slept well during the day either, usually just napping while he feeds. He's still quite clingy but he's sleeping so much better now, actually going for half an hour to an hour long naps a few times a day, and sometimes even falling asleep without feeding! He's feeding a little less too. He seems a bit less interested in play as he's so tired, but his mood has been good and he's smiled a lot. I just don't understand! Has this happened to anyone? Is he late on his wonder week starting, or skipping one, or are some babies just more sleepy during them sometimes? Or (wishful thinking) do things improve around 8 weeks and is this how he'll be now?

Wonder weeks aren't an exact science. Mine doesn't pay that much attention to them. I would take each day as it comes and not try looking for patterns too much as it can be pretty much anything going on.

Enjoy it while it lasts, mine has started having short naps in the day and is woken up by her brother all the time.

Wonder weeks were never accurate for us (though pretty much every week was a wonder week with my LO :haha:). As cliche as the "all babies are different" line is, it's true. There might be some general basis for wonder weeks but I don't think it's uncommon for some babies to not follow it exactly.
