Mommyof3co - I removed some of your blinkies.

I am going to repeat a post I made in the formula feeding section:

I refuse to allow any blinkies that are having a pop ...from any feeding method.

Most of all I do not want BabyandBump to turn into a blinkie war like most other forums ...we have managed to avoid this for nearly 3 years now.

I see these kind of blinkies nice when used to show your parenting methods and milestones but not subtle wars & point proving.

Please remove these ones from the list:

If I see anyone with these in their signatures they will be removed & any others alike I see fit from either feeding method.

It really is a case of used to show your methods and milestones no silly rhymes and statements. Its not something we're going to allow.

As you see from the formula blinkies thread the same rule applies to all.

Surely thats understandable.

Sorry to anyone that might have taken offense, I guess I look at them differently than others might. I thought some of them that mentioned formula, such as not producing enough, would be looked at as a joke, not putting it down in anyway. But I tried to pick ones that were either factual or that I thought would be taking jokingly not putting down bottle feeding in anyway. Again sorry if I offended anyone

Oh I know you didn't intend to offend ...don't get me wrong I stopped the other one from the formula section before this thread was even created. Theres no sides or anything major its just BabyandBump has never been like this which I see on soooooo many forums and I think we should be proud of that yet I can see it starting so don't want it to I just want to stop it before it starts.

I've never seen many blinkies for either method since we've opened - indeed the odd one but when certain types start popping up in siggys I think it lowers the friendly tone we have here together. I noticed the cow milestone badge type ones other week and they are cute ...milestones etc I think thats nice but seriously I just want to stop the trend that other forums have with these I think its messy and an unfriendly vibe given.

Hope that makes sense - Im pretty tired this evening.

This in in general, and not about this thread as I didn't see the other blinkies, but I agree with Wobbles. I also don't understand why milestone BFing blinkies were said to be offensive, and all of a sudden 'blinkie wars' springs up and admin have started having to get involved.
