BF - Quick Question

I have extremely sensitive skin normally. Has anyone ever had their breasts get a bit red on the top?

My nipples, etc. look normal but on the top it looks a heat rash. This was just yesterday that I noticed.

LO has nothing in her mouth or on her face but I greased her up pretty good with the baby oil yesterday (which sometime irritates my skin) and she's now feeding longer and rubbing her hands along my skin while she feeds.

Could the reddness be normal or should I get it checked if it doesn't go away?

Mastitis can have a reddness with it but I think youd be sore. It might be something innocent like a new fragrance / deodrant or smething reacting....get any new smellies for Xmas?? x

Do you feel sore at all in that spot? Or feel a knot under it?

Nope and nope.

I haven't gotten any new smellies for Xmas though I did take a bath with an old bubble bath which I haven't used in a long time Maybe that is it reacting with the milk/baby...

It is less this afternoon so maybe it was that. I'll go back to what I was using in the bath and see how that goes.

Thanks! It is less today so it might have been the bubble bath I was using... Appreciate it!! My breasts are a bit more tender lately but she's also been feeding longer lately as she's getting bigger /older and I know she's been having grow days... (she just turned 3 months)...
