I am not sure if its Leo's age but the last week or so he has been feeding for 10 mins and thats it! Sometimes its a bit longer but he seems empty to them in no time at all. Has anyone else found this?

Same here! I read the thread about durations of feeds and seems like most people go for around 30 mins or so. For us it's often like 10 minutes or even less!

Yep I timed it just now and it was 6 mins! I couldnt have my lunch that quick! He seems fine though so I am not too worried

My Seth's the same, but he's satisfied, and gaining weight, so he must be getting enough!!

My LO also doesn't drink for long unless she's really hungry. She does however have day of little times but more often.

Jasper feeds for about 10 minutes, sometimes less. I was a little concerned this wasn't long enough, but last night he was bottle fed expressed milk for the first time and my mum said he drinks the first 40mls in 1 minute flat and then just mucks around with the next 40 mls-which is 80mls and perfect for him at 11 days old.

I think its better to have a baby who feeds quickly, as long as they get enough in... the only thing is, and I'm not sure if its because he drinks so fast, he often gets the hiccups after a feed!
