BFing and s.e.x :)

So I'm not quite there yet, but trying to prepare myself for BFing my little mama who's coming in a few weeks.

I wasn't able to BF my DD, it didn't work out. I'm going to try even harder with this one and I feel like I'm well prepared/educated/etc...

ANYWAY -- how does BF-ing and sex work out? LOL

these may be the weirdest/dumbest questions --- but I don't know who else to ask

* Do your boobs leak when u're intimate?
* What if you ur man likes to touch/squeeze/suck/lick/etc.. will milk come out?
* Do your OH/DH's actually want to touch/squeeze/suck/lick them since now they belong to the baby?
* Is breastfeeding a turn off for men since now ur breasts mean something totally different?
* If the baby hasn't fed in awhile, does the motion of BF-ing hurt?

Please forgive my ignorance if these questions are completely stupid --- but I have no idea. Any other insights as to how it all goes down would be great!

* If the baby hasn't fed in awhile, does the motion of BF-ing hurt? if yo havent fed for a while you can feel a difference in the breast. they might become a bit harder as they are now full of milk

So Glad someone asked these questions!!!I have been meaning to for a while lol.

I am BFing and when intimate with my DH I insist on wearing a shirt and my bra and breast pads! I am scarred to leak all over him...

I find it a bit difficult now, because anytime his hands come around to my breast all I can think of is "Oh no,... hope everything's dry..." kind of a mood killer, I will say it is the one thing that I don't like about BFing, I feel like I always have to be careful with what I'm wearing to bed, and I'll admit that I am self conscience about it when it comes to intimacy...

OOh, good question, I dont let hubby touch them anymore, I just dont like the idea of it, Its James food and dont like the idea of hubby slobbering all over them lol. Just feels wrong for me. Just see how you feel when the time comes.

* Do your OH/DH's actually want to touch/squeeze/suck/lick them since now they belong to the baby? FOR ME IT IS TOO SEPRATE THINGS, I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SEPERATE THE TOO.
* Is breastfeeding a turn off for men since now ur breasts mean something totally different? OH DONT SEEM BOTHERED , MINE STARTED LEAKING AT 26 WEEKS. HE WASN'T EXPECTING THEM TO LEAK AT 26 WEEKS.
* If the baby hasn't fed in awhile, does the motion of BF-ing hurt?I FIND IT HARDER TO LATCH THEM ON AS THEY ARE SO HARD AND ROUND, THEY DO GET A BIT TENDER

Lol!! Yes my boobs leak everywhere when me and oh I dont really like my oh touching the now cos they belong to my lo, he does still try to grab them tho... I think as long as u keep a good sense of humour in the bedroom about leaky boobs u will b fine!!

* Do your boobs leak when u're intimate? Yes as they're being stimulated physically or when you're turned on.

* What if you ur man likes to touch/squeeze/suck/lick/etc.. will milk come out? Yes.

* Do your OH/DH's actually want to touch/squeeze/suck/lick them since now they belong to the baby? Yes, even more so! I've also managed to separate the two, I won't let him near me when I'm breastfeeding DD but hes welcome to them during sex! Funnily enough it sometimes actually makes it more comfortable and saves having to express!

* Is breastfeeding a turn off for men since now ur breasts mean something totally different? Its a personal thing for men as well - some men are turned on by breastfeeding mothers (my OH being one of them), some don't like it.

* If the baby hasn't fed in awhile, does the motion of BF-ing hurt? Yes initially, but the more the baby feeds the more comfy it gets.


Don't forget, its how comfortable YOU feel about it as well. With baby #1 I couldn't stand my nipples being touched after I finished breastfeeding. That feeling lasted a good 5-6 years, you know the "breasts are for baby" attitude. This time round I feel a lot better about it.
