BFN on 10miu at 14DPO & CBD at 16DPO still no AF *witch got me*

Am now 6 days late, not even a whiff of the ! Got another CBD, daren't do it cos I don't want to see that

What do you rate my chances?

I take it since you know the DPO that you chart your temps or use OPKs? So, if your 6 days late does that mean you are now 20dpo (14+6)? luteal phases are not suppose to last more then about 17days, so if you are truly 20dpo then your chances are good. I read that 95% get a +HPT on the first day of a missed period, but that still leaves 5% that take longer. If it continues you should go to the doc for a blood test.

Thanks for the reply. I have PCOS but my cycles have been a pretty regular 30days-ish. AF always appears on the 24th or 25th of the month. I don't use OPK's due to the PCOS as I know that they don't pick up the surge. I had EWCM around day 15 and I think I ovulate on day 16 as the one time the monitor picked it up it was day 16 but I was on Clomid at the time (I got my but sadly it was chemical ) We tend to cover most of the days anyway So yes, I'm 20DPO

I know that most people get their positives on the day they're due, I'm just hoping there are ladies on here that didn't get theirs till later on to give me a wee bit of hope that I'm an exception rather than the rule. So fingers crossed and I'll do another test in a few days

Without tracking temps you can't be 100% certain when you ovulated particularly as PCOS often leads to irregular cycles so you could test but you may get a false negative if you are pregnant but not as far along as you think. Also CBD are not as sensitive so may be better using a Superdrug own or FRER test. Good luck xx

phoenixrose is right, if you reach 17dpo then you have a good chance. However, this is how stress can affect a cycle- by delaying AF. I hope you get your BFP x

Many thanks ladies for your replies. I did another CBD and it would've shown up by now, so I reckon it's the PCOS raising its ugly irregularity!

Just an update- still not arrived so until she does I suppose I'm still in with a chance and I've read lots of hopeful stories of ladies not getting a on POAS until 4 weeks late etc, so here's hoping.........

I'm now CD41 of a 30 day cycle.
