Bfp after a negative result ?

I did post this is the ttc page but I thought I wouldn't get much response as obviously they wouldn't know if they were still ttc but has anyone ever had a bfp after a negative ? I'm only 1 day missed period but I have had all the symptoms and my bbt is still elevated but I did a first response and it's completely negative ! I'm just confused I'd rather my period just come so I know where I am at
