BFP after mmc

Never posted before n looking for some advice. I had a mmc in September and just got a bfp this morning. I'm having pains in my back at the right hand side. I'm so worried but managed to get a scan on 13/12/12. Any advice/comments??

Hi there. Congrats on the bfp. Did the doctor examine you? I had these pains and they were blamed on the corpus luteum x

I'm new to this so please bear with me lol. Pains have gone away now, but no symptoms. Just being paranoid I think. Ps how do you set this so you know when people reply x

Girlinyork Huge congratulations to u too. How far along are you n when did u get ur scan. I'm also worried bout gettin a scan at 6.5 weeks just incase the hb isn't there yet. Do sorry to annoy you but so worried about every little thing x

The corpus luteum is a cyst left on the ovary after an egg is released. If the egg isn't fertilised the corpus luteum breaks down and a period starts. If the egg is fertilised the corpus luteum produces hormones to sustain the pregnancy.

And thanks for the congratulations I was 6+4 in my scan and every was pretty clear including the heartbeat.

Thank u so much that makes me feel much better knowing a healthy scan at 6.5 is poss. When u due? I reckon bout 3 aug going with last af. Done a clear blue conception indicator test on 27/11 and it said 2-3weeks pregnant so wondering if I'm actually a wee bit further on. Prob just wishful thinking lol xx

Hi girlyinyork, just wanted to let you knôw I had my scan on fri all's well. Little heartbeat and measuring 5-6 weeks. I also have corpus luteum on right ovary but told its nothing yo worry about. Now feeling sick as a dog. Long may it continue lol. Got my dating scan on 14/1/13. Feel so much better about things now. Hope ur keeping well x
