Hello

Im very new to this but i have a question and wondered if anyone can help? I came off the contraceptive injection in July and havnt had a period since, even though we wanted to wait to start trying untill my periods came back we did have a few mishaps! so i did a test on sunday just to make sure with a clearblue test the 4 days early one with the cross if you are pregnant and it looked negative untill i looked closer there was a faint line makeing a cross i just thought it was the light or something but the next morning i had forgotten to throw it away and when i looked it was clear as day a blue cross?????? so thought opps better be sure and did one of those new digital ones that tell you how far along you are but it came up negative.

Wondered what you ladies thought??? Obviously i dont know when is the right time to test because i havnt been haveing my periods!!!

Thanks girls
Leanne xxxxxx

the annoying thing is you cant read the test after a certain time frame as it can give u false results but if u saw a faint line within the time frame u cud well be...it states the line can be faint...me personally i would get another one and do it and throw it away after the time frame....r better still get urself a clear blue digital it can tell u in words that way ....good luck hun x x x

I heard that the blue dye tests give a lot of false positives, get a first response or a dollar store test and try again in a few days. Good luck.

if you look on the back of the instructions, it says in ridiculously small print that the line has to be as thick as the horizontal line to count as positive, not a thin line.

Yeah some are Evap lines showing hun, try using a first response test they are brill, dont forget u can get alot of false negatives on preg tetss my mum did until she was 6 months gone on me. good luck :hugs: xxx

all else fails go for the digital test... I never used one. But, sure it is an easier read. Well, if your bb's start to hurt and feeling a bit sick call Doctor for a beta blood test :)
