BFP Today, but BLEEDING/CRAMPING A LOT :(

Hi everyone!!! I cannot believe I am now able to join this group finally!

Congrats on all of your pregnancies, I hope they are going well.
I had the lovely pleasure of getting my BFP today on quite a few tests, although they are still VERY faint, but definite BFPs.

My questions is: Have any of you had experience with bleeding (somewhat heavy) and bad cramping right around your BFP. Basically it feels EXACTLY like my normal period, and I am so so so scared and nervous that I am having a CP or something else. I have read conflicting reports online about some women being fine with bleeding and some having MC's, but is there anyone on here that can personally say they have bleeding right around BFP and everything is still going well? Anything I can do to help the situation, should I go see a doctor to possibly prevent or stop the bleeding/cramping? Since this is my first, I am just so excited, but so scared of losing it already since I've been bleeding/bad cramping for the last 10 hours.

Any advice welcomed, thank you so much ladies!!!!!

Well i think it would be a good idea if u can c a dr. But when u say bleeding is it reddish and with clots or just spotting.

It started as brown and light, but it is getting heavier and more red, but I havent seen any clots yet. Still not as heavy as a normal period just yet, but I am TERRIFIED.

I was supposed to get my period 12/19, so today was 2 days late. I had been testing since 8dpo, and got my BFP today at 13DPO and started bleeding about an hour later...

Well then I believe you had a chemical... It happens sometimes, Google it.I am sorry but in this case nobody can do anything.

I have heard some girls have implantation bleeding that is just like a period only lighter, some last a day and some a couple. It's mostly Brown or light pink though. . It sounds like a chemical to me but you never know until you see. Dr. .. If you continue bleeding bright red just like a period I would say chemical that's why a lot of people like to wait a week after their missed period to test.

Hey hun. Congrats on the BFP. I made a post identical to this a few weeks ago! I got my BFP at 13dpo the next day bad cramps and bleeding, it lasted 3 days and I then tested again and real strong line and pregnant on digi. However I've done a test since and its still faint. Got a scan on Monday. I really don't think I'm pregnant but we will soon see! Hopefully it was implantation bleed. Leave a couple of days and test again. Good luck x

It could be implantation bleeding, some women still have a period type bleed in pregnancy and be ok. Or it could be a chemical pregnancy. That is where you start to be pregnant but baby never implants. Signs are faint positives and a period. If that is the case then most women go on to be pregnant within a cycle or two. But don't count your self out. I bleed from week 5 to 10 with my eldest and she is here. Good luck

I can't say if it is okay or not. When you say bleeding do you mean a full blood flow like a regular period or spotting. Also I what color is the blood. If it is a CP then not even a doctor can do anything. I would therefore say wait a few days and test again. Best of luck! And stay hopeful.

It was a chemical
Pain and bleeding increased very badly, and I was passing large tissue. My pregnancy tests started getting lighter as well. Its still positive today but much lighter. Thank you all for your help and support.

I'm not sure if this is what you really want to hear or not but at least since it was a chemical you can try again right away... there are MANY women on this site who got a the very next cycle
