Hey everyone,

I just had embryo transfer today. It was a 5 day transfer. I had 12 embies on day 3 and only 4 blastos today. There were 3 grade D and 1 grade E blasto. They transferred 2 of the grade D's. But I am so worried about how much a grade D will affect my chances of getting a BFP.

Anyone have a success story about getting a BFP with a grade D blasto? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure about sucess related to grading, but you have a higher chance with blastos. You could call the clinic and ask them?

Keeping everything crossed that your little embies will stick :hugs:

Thanks Caline. I wish that they wouldn't have even told me about their "grade". I'm just hoping that my womb gives them the opportunity to grow like they should. Dr. said that pregnancy can still be acheived with a D, but I'm just wondering how many people get preggers with D and how many usually have A's, B's, and C's.

Hi hopesforababy.

I think sometimes we as humans know too much about things i.e you being told they're grade D's that automatically makes you worry whereas if you didn't know perhaps youd be feeling more relaxed.

I can't help answer your question and I think even if someone didn't get pregnant with a D that doesn't mean you won't :) everyone is different and every embroyo is different! I've read many stories where a Grade 3 embroyo still resulted in pregnancy so hold on the hope that it will work and try and relax! You can't change it so try and embrace it and fingers crossed you'll get the BFP you deserve :) xxx
