Bicuspid Aortic Valve :(

Just found out some bad news Friday at my cardiologist appt. I was born with a heart murmur/mild aortic stenosis that never gave me any problems throughout my life so far. Well, after having my heart scanned they found out that I have moderate to severe bicuspid aortic valve. My cardiologist said if he knew that I had this he would not have recommended me becoming pregant and I might have to have surgery to replace the valve during pregnancy or shortly after. I am almost 21 weeks now. They will be monitoring me closely and I will be transferred to a high risk OB doctor. Trying to stay positive and hope for the best. But it is hard..I am scared..
